Why MENA Analysis#

Much of what is written about the Middle East is either too fast or too narrow: breaking news without context, or specialist research that rarely reaches a wider audience. MENA Analysis aims to sit between the two — offering careful, sourced and readable analysis of the forces that shape the region.

The articles here are my own analysis and opinion. They draw on scholarly literature, primary sources and reputable reporting, and I try to cite my sources clearly so that readers can follow the evidence and judge the argument for themselves.
